Schools or Place of worship !

Today i was going through the newspaper where i read an article which stated that out of the 7% buildings in India being used for a purposes other than the home comfort - 0.9% are temples and 0.6% are schools - which took me by a shock. It made me realise that our country gives more importance to temples than to igniting and implore the rich minds of the young kids.

I personally believe that the solution to each and every problem in India lies in providing education to one and all ( including the 60+ aged  illiterate ). A country as huge and dynamic as ours can only be bonded through education. education can  helps us to to look at problems in a better way  and similarly help in bringing out the solutions. We as countrymen need to realise its importance to the fullest.

Why don't we stop for a moment and ponder on this very fact , think that where for centuries we have been going wrong and try coming with a solution. Because solutions can not only be brought by those big people but can even be brought by our smallest acts.

So instead of building places of worship to help their greedy conscious the big business man should think about opening schools. indirectly they will be getting what they want which is making god happy and i definately think that god will be happy seeing his kids having a better life.

A school build on the same piece of land can do more amout of goodness .

I have written this article not to educate but to show and factualise the condition which we all know about but decide to not see. I as a young Indian citizen want to help in the making and the growth of a better India and this is one sphere of our many problems where i feel actions is required because we as a country can do wonders with a huge literate population.

Today an Indian is heading coke, an Indian is heading Microsoft, an Indian is heading the largest accounting firm of US. So we basically have the potential if we can go and do wonders outside we can even make changes in our own nation too. Only the right direction is required.

i have some ideas but i l be thrilled to listen to urs too. And i guess more than ideas its about taking action and making people aware and hitting a lobe of their conscious.
